چکیده

The higher order corrections of SU(3) rotating excited states to the Gell-Mann-Okubo Relations (or GOR) are presented in the standard SU(3) Skyrme model. The Improved GOR (or IGOR) are obtained. The results show the IGOR for decuplet up to the third order and for octet up to the second order are much compatible with the experimental data. But things becomes quite inadequate for the octet to the third order. In order to overcome the inadequacy, a heuristic discussion is presented. The properties of SU(3) rotating excited states 27-let(with spin 1 2 or 3 2 ),10∗-let (with spin 1 2 ) and 35-let(with spin 3 2 ) are also discussed. ∗This work was supported by National Natural Science Foundation of China through C.N.Yang and Science Fund of the Chinese Academy of Science.

Effects of perturbative exchanges in a QCD–string model

The QCD-string model for baryons derived by Simonov and used for the calculation of baryon magnetic moments in Ref. [1] is extended to include also perturbative gluon and meson exchanges. The mass spectrum of the baryon multiplet is studied. For the meson interaction either the pseudoscalar or pseudovector coupling is used. Predictions are compared with the experimental data. Besides these exch...

The properties of baryons containing one heavy quark are studied in the Skyrme model, where they are treated as bound states of a heavy meson with an SU(2) chiral soliton. In the large Nc limit, the baryon spectrum is an infinite tower of degenerate states with isospin and spin of the light degrees of freedom I = sl = 0, 1, 2, . . ., and total spin s = |sl ± 1/2|. Exotic states with no quark mo...

Pseudoscalar Meson and Charmed Baryon Scattering Lengths

Up to now many heavy hadrons have been discovered experimentally. Their inner structures and interactions attract much attention. Some of them are speculated to be possible new hadron states beyond the traditional quark model. For example, the newly discovered Zb states are treated as the B̄ (∗)B∗ molecular states [1, 2]. Many other molecular states, such as those composed of ΞcΞc, DD̄ ∗, are als...

The physics of the orbitally excited baryons simplifies drastically in the large Nc limit. The states are arranged into irreducible representations of the contracted SU(4)c symmetry, with mixing angles determined exactly. The ratios of the strong couplings N∗ → [Nπ ]S,D are predicted in this limit, with results in agreement with those following from the quark model (with the large Nc mixing ang...

It is shown that the principal pattern in baryon spectroscopy, which is associated with the flavor-spin hyperfine interactins, is due to the spontaneous breaking of chiral symmetry in QCD and persists in the chiral limit. All corrections , which are associated with a finite quark (Goldstone boson) mass are suppressed by the factor (µ/Λ χ) 2 and higher. In a recent work [1] Thomas and Krein ques...
